SHE chooses to work in the area of women’s health and continence.

Annette graduated as a physio from Lincoln Institiute, La Trobe University in 1994.  SHE worked in public hospitals in general physiotherapy roles and chose to work with women and children and then later in continence and pelvic health clinics.  SHE worked in general physiotherapy for a brief time before competing post-graduate studies in continence and pelvic rehabilitation.

Annette practised pilates from 2008 and studied pilates through Polestar Pilates in 2013.

SHE has worked in the area of continence and pelvic health since 1995.

Annette was a registered nurse for 10 years prior to being a physiotherapist. SHE worked in gynaecology, general medicine and surgery and in aged care.

Annette Beauchamp Physiotherapy and Pilates is based in Middle Park in Melbourne Australia.

Life has been a gentle flow forever pulling me towards women’s health.  I love working with women and watching them succeed with their bodies and lives.

LAILA has been practising Pilates for over 20 years as part of her personal training in dance and competitive cheerleading. Professionally, she has added formal qualifications in Pilates, with a Cert IV through Polestar Pilates, and specific training for pre- and post-natal clients to her credentials of a decade teaching dance and cheerleading.

Laila has an appreciation of the unique stresses on the body experienced in a range of work and life situations, from working in an office environment to participating in national level sport and dance competitions. She has first-hand understanding of the value and exceptional benefits of Pilates in strengthening and repairing the body and is passionate about sharing her knowledge to help others achieve their physical goals through Pilates.

Working with elite sportspeople, assisting in rehabilitations for an ageing population and instructing in some of Melbourne’s leading schools combine to qualify Laila to provide a great Pilates experience for all – young, old and in between.

LAILA is at SHE on Saturdays for specialised mat classes and private lessons with equipment in our studio. She can be available by appointment during the week.
